Final Door in Castle Oborot

I have tried to follow the instructions in the HOL III FAQ related to Castle Oborot but appear to be stuck at the final door before I get to Brund and Kozney’s Mage (see map attached). Keep getting the message “You can’t see any method of opening this door “

Any idea what I have missed?

She instructing me to help her niece find the locket.

i assumed the locket was in the sewer however i have touched every wall, puddle, light in the sewer and cannot find the locket. Have also been all over town looking for it as well. I feel stuck and couldn’t find a guide here to help. I’ve found things in sewers before in this game. Help please!

the beer fairy won’t even talk to me about downunder ale. I have homemade downunder ale but whoever wanted won’t accept it. I’ve already taught her the fairy cloak spell as well. Not sure what to do here.

Kosneys lair

I completed the mirror caves, then got to the final area kosneys lair and found two gold chests. I tried to bring them back to old shaman, and got no responce. Arent one of these kosneys death? What can i do to complete this quest?

I'm in the cave (Tiger Cliffs) in the Emerald Forrest. Three steps in there is a wall that should be removable and I'm sure Zmeyana is there, but I can't remove the wall. I have tried every method I can think of but the wall won't budge. Am I missing something? I am wearing Ohrana's Amulet.

Early in the game some seem to die before after telling me I would pay for this. The rest don’t seem to die no matter what weapon I use.

Hello! I've looked through the forums to the best of my ability and didn't seem to find anybody else get the answer to this, but sorry if I just missed it! The last quest I have in HoLIII is Find Kuzka's Mother. I've scoured the city & port of Pokoygrad but have no idea where she might be.

Of course, by posting this I'll probably find her immediately when I open the game back up... :) TIA!

I have solved all other quests, and I think i’ve even killed Kozney also. But this last quest seems to be very hard, because I’ve forgotten what I have done.

I’ve talked to all in The Floating University, and found one clue: “In that time, Kozney managed to kidnap Princess Vasilisa. He undoubtedly took her to his lair.“

And, looking at my notes, it seems that I have found Princess Vasilisa and she has said to me: “Take me away from here, please! A part of his life essence that could lead to his death must lie near here. Please find it and take me home!”

And since I don’t have any other quests active, I must’ve found Kozney’s death and solved that quest. But still I can’t solve the Princess Vasilisa quest.

Where in the lair was Princess Vasilisa, exactly? I’d like to try and pick her up again.

Crypt puzzle again spoilers

I never found the puzzle scroll in my apple version of the game. So i tried using cryptogram logic to solve it. The two sequences have a constant first word, to and day. But after that the pattern disappears. After 10 permutations i saw some repeats in each sequence but they would disappear when reset and only came back randomly after reset. Will someone please tell me what the scroll says? I would like to finish that part of the crypt.

Wonderfull game! Good job Cat and zarista games!

most liked spell: puppy love. Drains mana with each use so you never run out of mana, does damage to more than one badguy, inflicts paralysis on more than one bg each time. Loved that spell! Combined with magic maul, awsome!

most pointless trap: those spike traps in dram castle. They were just annoying to me. Didnt understand what they were supposed to do other than drain health points and annoy player.

best and toughest dungeon: mad mirror dungeon. Loved the mirrors that only showed up at certain angles. Very clever. Approach them from certain directions and they dissappeared! Funny.

most versatile weapon: cats talon.

looking forward to the next hol game.

There is one mirror that I’m not able to approach in the Manical Mirror Room. I managed to “sneak” up and approach the others but no matter how I step, it disappears. It’s on the north part of the west wall.

Problems in Casle Oborot

I fear that I’ve made a terrible mistake!

I entered the Floating University for the first time, and opened Silvergirl’s door. Then I exited out of the dialogue, without choosing any discussion. I tried to go back to the discussion with Silvergirl, but the door was locked! Immediately I committed suicide, hoping that the autosave would take me to the situation before dialogue. But oh no! Even after reloading the game, Silvergirl’s door remains locked!

Have I lost some important quest or hint by my mistake?

Ive labled all the houses in pokograd, checked on this forum, then tried to find marak. I noticed cat said hes in the west of pokygrad center. I cant find him/her there. Help please?
