Problem Clearing Broono's Quest

I have run into a spot of bother clearing Broono's quest (Test the sphere). What happened was this:

Somewhere I found another Destruction sphere (indistinguishable from the one Broono gave me) before I got to the Testing Grounds. At the Testing Grounds whichever one got tested first was not very powerful while the other one destroyed the statues. When I returned to Broono the only talking choice was "About the Guild", nothing about the task. Thus I am unable to complete the quest.

Have I found a bug? Or is there something else I must do or someone else I must talk to?

I can get past the entrance quest. If I select the wrong answer how do I start over? There is no reset option and clicking the answers keeps clicking them. Is the answer you selected by the switch directly on the opposite side wall even the text states to the left?

How to talk to Aldernon

Can anyone let me know what all is needed to talk to Aldernon ? I have the Whispering Breezes sphere. My persuade is 221, my Intellect is 243, my personality is 154. All he does is drop my hp to 10.

I want to increase my stats further by equipments and permanent potions.

As part of the “Deliver Advices” quest, I have to retrieve the Clarity Bubble for Marina in Fair Shore Village. She asks me to travel to Church of St John in Wounded Earth where I meet with Father Ley inside. I do have the question about Clarity as a dialogue option. However when I ask him about the Clarity Bubble, Father Ley responds that he has never hear of such a thing. My character had Mind Magic 176 and Persuasion 151. What am I doing wrong???

UPDATE: I just successfully completed this quest by increasing my Persuasion to 187

Exorcize the water ghoul bug

If you do not talk to Chin before you exorcise the water ghoul from Shun with the Jewel of Ebb and Jewel of Flood, the quest will hang up. Chin will just tell you how famous you are rather than thanking you for the help and giving you a bunch of gems. And without Chin's approval, the main quest from Mikey can never be finished and without Mikey's rose, the Brew a potion quest cannot be finished. Further with these two open quests, you'll never be able to join the Guild.

Luckily, I was able to go back to a very recent save and do everything in the correct order.

Also there's a minor typo in the Spellbook of Marked Man (picture attached).

Hello - Having a hard time opening the gate, I am tapping the candle to the left of the two,correct answers (we are born smart and think we are clever and we have low endurance but high protection magic) but I keep getting the answer that says you may not be a Derth after all. I speak to Dr Zolofft, then speak to Nurse and she always answer "poor thing" and give bear. I speak to nusre kiss how was written in quest description. She answered "you should just study for test"

I read the entries to get to the grotto. I found the skulls, found the hidden switch behind the plant, hit it, and it said something had changed, but i went back to the skull pile and there was no door. What was supposed to happen next? Where is the forgotto grotto entrance?

I have searched all over the Squirrel Forrest and can’t find Aldernon. The hollow tree in Cape Thunderbird only had squirrel droppings so I know he is not there. What am I missing?
