South of captain viktor, east from the "mushroom fields" sign is a shop The grand potioner. When entering and clicking on buy/sell the game stops. It kicks you out..."The quest has stopped." When you start again it asks to load saves cloud or local then kicks you back to last save.

I don't see anything wrong with that shop. You can send a save file to elendil@@redshift.hu and explain to him what happens. Let him know what device you're playing on. He needs the save file. Just save there at the shop. Before you send the savebfile to him, make sure it happens more than once.
