Sorta along those lines, does any town sell a cure wounds touch for the heal Nifont quest? I generally sell any * touch scrolls and don't have one in inventory. i've travelled to all the towns i can in HOL and back in the original quest+expansion, rested for almost a week, and still haven't found a cure wounds touch scroll. Enchanting a blank scroll doesn't work.
Thanks.
]]>HOL I provides a number of items that don't seem to have any purpose:
Dragon Balls, Mirror of Transformation, Scroll of Invisible Hare's Note, Scroll of Illuminated Enchanted Manuscript, Scroll of Thieftouch (none of these scrolls can be cast), Snowbird Feather, as well a few unique (gold text) but unnecessary weapons which are under-leveled for what it takes to acquire them, such as Savirian Sabre.
Is there anything meaningful to these items? Were they leftovers from ideas that were never implemented or something?
Thanks
]]>I am enjoying the game but have yet to hear any mention of a spy just seen it mentioned on the post here.
Have a good weekend, stay safe
Afterwards he made some mention of Silvergirl, but it doesn't appear as an actual quest entry
Is this just some story arc to lead into HOL2, and so there's nothing more for me to do here?
]]>I reset (flip up) all switches, then flip down 1,2,3,5,8,13 in sequence but nothing happens.
I also tried flipping 1 twice, so its 1,1,2,3,5,8,13
No message to indicate its worked and the teleporter doesnt activate
What could I be doing wrong?
Thanks
]]>I wonder who designed Gleb's and Pahom's quest? I love this simplicity in a clearly spiritual quest. No idea if it's realistic but since nothing weird from human standpoint happened in it I assume it is.
I also wonder who wrote Master Seamus' dialogue.
I also wonder who wrote "The Firewind" story. Now that's a good illustration of what's so good in the Old Testament.
Oh my, this is good.
It's hard to be critical when you have what you value in a game. It's the first time I feel this happiness mixed with interestingness after a story's ending.
You see? Most books in The Quest have a bad ending, while "The Firewind" which is definitely influenced by Old Testament logic is a touching story with evil destroyed and main characters left with happiness. It is an engrossing short story with a happy ending. Imagine what a longer tale based on both Judeo and Christian logic could be like! Impossible to imagine! It can only be written and read.
]]>Search around the island you arrive on thoroughly. Equip all armor, and if you want to use Heavy weapon, the best you have here is Dragon Heavy blade which is strong enough to find your way to Yaga Forest and pick a very powerful maul from Sauna in the forest.
Dexterity is very useful here, but wait. You can add as much to Dexterity as you can, then add to Light weapon, accuracy, repair maybe dual wield if you chose it etc and then go back to the screen with "attributes" and tap "undo". Now you have high levels of almost everything and a LOT more points to add to Endurance. It's a cheat))) I suggest you let Master Samodelkin in Zlatograd train your repair skill before you raise it, but that's a bit later on.
That's it. Now you can man wolves and wrestle with moles and more
