Find and destroy Bethlusa

I have Michele's Diamond Blade, the Djinn and Fire-eating abilities. I enter through to challenge Bethlusa, but the is fire in the way.
I also tried shooting through the fire with Old Shaman's Heavy Bow but it doesn't injure Bethlusa.
Not sure how to proceed and appreciate any help.

I tried tapping the flame and that worked.
