How do you kill Tanton and Gryffrost? Nothing seems to work. Tried both Thor's hammer (sorry can't spell the name) and Roar of Thor but them nor magic worked.

You need the Blessed Sword to kill all the Ragnar Warriors. Michele L gives you the quest to obtain the Blessed Sword and tells you to see Thor's Shrine Keeper at Thor's Shrine.
He gives you the Blessed Staff to exchange for that sword with the Lady of the Pool there, but only if your Strength is at least 50.
You need that sword to battle Ragnar slso.
