Hello, I'm thoroughly stuck on how to kill Golga.

I have the freezer wand, The Hope stag sword, and I've tried to kill golga with distance and close attacks.

On Golga's dialogue I selected that I didn't want to kill him, the bottom choice. Was this wrong?

I appreciate the help. No rush.

    Actually, I don't think I need to kill him. I finished the game anyway :)
