I understand the magic box puzzle, but i dont understand the meaning of the buttons and how they are used to fill in the blank numbers. Any help appreciated.

I just paid the security dude to get in. But i still want to figure the puzzle out.

The book tells you that the sum of the numbers in every row, in every column, and, in each major diagonal, should be the same.

So you have three rows. The sum of the numbers across must be 15. The sum of the numbers down in each column must be 15..

The Pergamen tells you:

In order to enter the casino, you must fill in the Magic Square below. See the book for instructions. The total of the sum for the numbers in each row, each column and each major diagonal must be the same: 15.

There are nine numbers in each row.

The answer to the first row is: t

Tap the number 4 that shows up in its box because that's given to you. You get a "Click". Save your file because you know it's right. Then you have to figure out the next two numbers that will total 15 along with the 4. And tap them in the correct sequence. So next tap the box containing the number 2. You get a "Click." So the next correct number has to be 9 for them all to add up to 15.. Tap the box that has the 9.

You get a "Click". Save your file and move on to the next row. 4, 2 and 9 equal 15.

And so on.

Thanks, i went back and finally figured all the numbers out. It was the mechanism that had me stumped.
