Province of conjurers. Esu a lleps means what ? TIA. This seems to be play on "Spell a use". Can't figure it out. Tried all reasonable spells. Must be getting old, a expect i missed another obvious clue.... TIA.

It means 'use a spell.' You need the Conjurer's Spell which you can learn there. There's a glowing, red pentagram in the southwest that can teach you the spell. You can't gain entry to that area unless you do the Conjurer's quest.

How does one bypass the trap at the entrance? This goes to another area on the map, but the southwest section is blocked off by a column.

How do I get Conjurer’s quest? Whenever I talk to him, he just says ”let me teleport you where you belong, intruder” and then I get teleported away. Also, there is a gate next to him, that I don’t know how to open. Tapping it just says “You don’t see any method of opening this door.”
You need to be wearing the Conjurer's Cloak. He opens that gate.

Try talking to all the people in the Guild. It's often one of them.
Where is The Enclave of Wizards? Perhaps Vivian who gave The rescue Merlin quest is the trigger.
I don'tbsee anything in her dialogue. It's in the far north.
Found her- I think a bug in the game prevents the ending screen.
As you can see, according to Merlin, I finished, but the two opponents are still behind the gate. There is no more wizard puppet that triggers the gate opening and I think this is the bug.
There seems to be a passage and a small gold pile behind Merlin. How do we get it?
You brought Merlin Kamber's head. The gold is just decorative. a you can't get it. I sometimes do that on purpose.
The Conjurer opens that gate. It can't close on its own, I don't see a bug.
Vivian doesn't play the end credits.
Merlin doesn't give the credits either, nor does Habren nor Malin nor Mymbyr nor Kamber. It may be that I left them out because there are two possible endings.
If you're playing on mobile, there are sometimes glitches. That gate is opened by code. It can only be closed by code and there is none as far as I can see.
The bug is The Conjurer is dead. There is no way to open the gate now.
As you can see, I have all nine Tetragon gems.
That is purpose of earlier save file.
But the Conjurer by the gate shouldn't be dead as he's not coded to turn aggressive. Give him the gems, he opens the gate, then just stands there. He never disappears. You either have a glitch or wrong man.
Yes, he is aggressive: I killed him because of it. But I cast Detect Mind- he is just a Level 1 that does no damage.
Look at the staircase- no Conjurer in front.
If you attack the Conjurer, you get a message that you shouldn't . I tried to kill him and couldn't. Playing in Steam. Any time I try to hit him, I get that message. I can't do him any damage at all.
There's nothing I can do to make him any less aggressive and can't do updates.
The Conjurer wants the tetragon gems to open the door to Merlin's cell. Haven't you gone beyond that?
There is another Conjurer in the Province of Conjurer's who is aggressive but the guy who wants the gems is not him.
No, it was the one who wants the gems and a trigger made him hostile. It’s a bug- Does the gate that has that archer woman and skeleton yield The Conjurers spell?
In all this time, no one has reported that happening and I can't get it to happen. Yes that's how you get the spell. You have to go back to an earlier save file.
